Peer Review Process

The Public Health Frontier journal applies a peer review system as the main standard in the manuscript selection process. All articles submitted will undergo a rigorous review process to ensure the scientific quality, relevance, and originality of the publication content.

After an initial evaluation by the editorial team to assess the suitability of the topic, structure, and compliance with journal writing guidelines, manuscripts that meet the criteria will proceed to the peer review process.

Each manuscript will be reviewed by at least two independent peer reviewers who have expertise in the field of study of the manuscript. Reviewers are asked to provide a comprehensive assessment of the novelty of the topic, the validity of the methodology, data analysis, significance of the results, and the quality of scientific writing. If there are significant differences in the assessment results between reviewers, the editor may appoint a third reviewer as the deciding factor.

Based on the results of the peer review process, the editorial board will make a final decision: accepted, revised (minor/major), or rejected. The entire process is conducted transparently, accountably, and in accordance with scientific publication ethics.

Public Health Frontier is committed to the principles of integrity, accuracy, and scientific objectivity. Therefore, all parties involved in the peer review process are expected to maintain the confidentiality of manuscripts, avoid conflicts of interest, and provide constructive and professional feedback.
